I started with creating Christmas. As I worked for a business that served the Research Triangle Park area, I realized there was an unfufilled need for Christmas decore in the area.
Christmas became my favorite time of year. I came to enjoy creating the wreaths, garland, and of course the trees so much that I felt led to expand my hobby to a business. Being able to create and execute these ideas is a blessing that could have only been given to me by God. As long as He continues... I’ll continue to do what I do and love through Ideally Simple Decor.

It all started with a botched blanket purchase. I told myself that I could make this and be happier with the end result. But, could I really do it? Little did I know, I would grow to enjoy making blankets this much. My son started to take every new blanket I made, so I had to make more.
If it wasn't for family, I would not have had the courage to share my blankets to anyone outside of my family tree. The encouragement, the love, the helpful advice, and how creative they are within their own rights, is inspiring to me.
That kind of familial support means everything to me. It is why I continue to make and share with others to show that you can do it too. It is my hope that you feel that comfort and love each time you wrap up in A.Blanket.
